AITAC has been nominated for the IY&A Award 2014
with yacht CM42 concept

March 3, 2014
Our cooperation with the young designer Valdi Knapić has made its first success. AITAC has been nominated for the International Yacht & Aviation Award 2014, with 45-metre yacht CM42 concept design, entering the 'Yacht Design Concept over 30 metre' category.
The International Yacht & Aviation Awards are hosted by 'design-et-al', a leading UK interior design magazine, aiming to commend design, recognize talent, create opportunities and quite simply to offer inspiration. Short listed entries are presented online, and voting is open to industry professionals as well as design et al readers, clients and customers.
The CM42 is an aggressive looking, 45,2 meter long, super yacht characterized by powerful and decisive lines on first sight. Second glance reveals real CM42 character: sharp, sophisticated and impressive. An audacious and bold expression that has managed to rise above the conventional design, without being trapped in the cliché of becoming just another theoretical exercise. The realistic CM42 design is comfortable, spacious, simple but different, safe and stylish. Design of CM42 was fully made with  CATIA V5.
'At moment there are seven competitors in our category. We are proud that our project has been recognized at the international level and that we've been given an opportunity to compete among the best in this prestigious competition with great names in yacht design' – said AITAC’s managing director, Marijan Lorencin.
The International Yacht & Aviation Awards 2014 will be held on Friday 9th May 2014 at the Hurlingham Club, London. Winners will be announced at the mentioned ceremony, which will be attended by AITAC representatives.
